First and foremost, I am a husband to an amazing wife and the dad of 2 incredible little kids. Besides that, I am a guy who tries to bring some light and positivity to any room I’m in. I do my best to leave people and situations better than i found them.
CrossFit has had a profound positive impact on my life; from the obvious physical benefits to mental and social improvements as well. The biggest impact I felt from other coaches was when they would help me learn a new movement, or break through a plateau on a given movement. Those coaches helped me believe I was capable of doing those things, and helped me achieve that, which helped my life outside the gym as much as it did inside. My reason for becoming a coach was to do my best to pass along that feeling to others that I have the chance to work with as much as I can.
It’s a toss up between Diane (deadlifts duh) and Amanda (got to love some gymnasty stuff). And most of my fun PR’s were from back in my Powerlifting days. Best lifts in training were: Back Squat - 475, Bench - 325, Deadlift - 615
I am first generation American. My parents moved here from the Dominican Republic in the 80’s.
