CHALLENGE BRINGS CHANGE
I have been involved with CrossFit for a little over 5 years, co-founding CFNS in 2011. Over the last 15 years, I have been able to channel my passion for teaching others through various mediums including youth camp programs, high-school volunteer work, adult financial literacy training and others, but it wasn’t until CrossFit in which I found the perfect fit with my passion for health and wellness and group training. There is nothing more rewarding than helping others achieve a healthier, more productive life.
I have always been involved in athletics and fitness in some realm. Over the last 5 years I have seen my athletes make progress the likes of which I had never witnessed before. The CrossFit methodology, wielded correctly, is extremely powerful and enables individuals to discover a passion for fitness as a sport… a lifelong endeavor. No longer do our members have to yearn for the days of high school football or youth gymnastics, recalling them as the last time they were “in shape.” Parents can play with their kids, friends can go hiking, seniors can continue to build functional strength.
My focus is on improving the functional lives of our members, one day at a time… one lift at a time, one row at a time. My mission is to make this focus realistic for as many individuals as possible through intelligent programming and diligent instruction. I believe in a common sense approach to fitness and do not subscribe to non-functional fads. I constantly seek new knowledge and experiences that I can share with our members.I leverage a community of like-minded individuals as a constant motivator.
I look forward to sharing the CFNS vision with you! Challenge = Change.
