CHALLENGE BRINGS CHANGE
Nutrition has been a passion of mine my entire life. Growing up on a farm and learning the details about how food is grown, what is in the food we eat, and the true value of quality nutrition was a large part of my childhood. As a competitive athlete in high school and college, I learned how proper nutrition was able to give me the competitive edge that all athletes look for, and experimented a lot with how foods would impact my physical appearance. I then carried this knowledge and experience over to helping others, assisting individuals nutritionally in many aspects of life and competition ranging from competitive bodybuilding, modeling, athletics, pre/post pregnancy, illness/injury rehabilitation, and wedding/vacation prep. My newest endeavor has been assisting individuals with the nutritionally – multifaceted demands in Crossfit. Based on everything that I have learned throughout my studies, I strongly believe that a Crossfit athlete’s success is highly reliant on their nutrition. In addition, I strongly believe that if an individual’s focus is weight loss, weight gain, or just to improve their quality of life, Crossfit is truly the most efficient and effective “vehicle”, but the fuel for that vehicle (i.e.: nutrition) must be correct. I truly believe that everything that I have learned, experimented with, and experienced has allowed me to acquire a unique ability to assist crossfitters with their nutritional needs in a way that most people would not know. On a more personal note, I am a born and raised Arizonian, Crossfit and nutrition are my sole passions in life, I currently work as a full-time firefighter/engineer in Carefree, AZ (10 years), I personally train and assist individuals with their nutritional needs as a side job / hobby, and I currently live in Scottsdale, AZ.
